Tips to Prepare Your Garbage and Reduce Odours
- Tightly wrap or secure garbage to prevent loose materials from being scattered by wind or animals.
- Do not overstuff garbage carts as they cause difficulty for crews collecting and could result in cart damage.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda in the bottom of the cart or on garbage to absorb odours, and it also helps with removing odours when rinsing out the cart.
