Bike Theft Prevention
Project 529 is fast becoming the best way to register your bike and utilize technology to assist in its recovery should it ever become stolen. Richmond RCMP was one of the first of RCMP detachments to partner with them. Project 529 is now being used by many police agencies in BC, across Canada, and the US.

Registration is very simple and can be managed through a smart phone app.

We now offer registration at any of our Community Police Offices (CPO) throughout Richmond and offer it at many of the community functions that we attend.

Project 529 Bike Registration
Project 529 bicycle registration is available from the Richmond RCMP at certain community events, and at the following location:

City Centre CPO (Community Police Office)
6931 Granville Avenue, Richmond, BC, V7C 4M9
Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Note: This service is provided at *no-cost*. Registration is not available at the main Richmond RCMP Detachment. No appointment is required.

Those interested will be required to:

  1. Bring their bike
  2. Provide a valid email address
