City Bylaws regulate dog ownership (Dog Licensing), as well as how dogs must be housed and controlled. For dog owners and dog walkers the most common regulations can be found in our Information for Dog Owners Brochure.
For regulation pertaining to all types of pets, farm animals or wildlife, refer to the appropriate bylaw below:

After-hours: When RAPS is closed, send a patrol request to firstname.lastname@example.org which goes directly to our Officers in the field between the hours of 7:00 am to 9:00 pm - 7 days a week (including statutory holidays). If you see a dog in distress outside of RAPS and Community Bylaw hours, please contact the RCMP non-emergency number 604-278-1212.
