2020/2021 Preschool Public Registration
Steveston Community Centre Preschool Registration will be a Lottery for School Year 2020-2021 (birth year 2016/2017) due to the community centre being closed.
- Digital ballot forms are available starting Monday, May 4, 2020 and accepted until 11:59 pm Sunday, May 10, 2020.
- Families of children who attain a space will be notified and given 24 hours to respond.
- Any remaining ballots will be used to create a waitlist.
The following are required at the time of registration:
- Birth Certificate
- $40 non-refundable
- Completed registration package & pre-authorized payment information (credit card information or 10 cheques post-dated August 1, 2020 to May 1, 2021)

Registration for the 2020/2021 School Year
Preschools at Richmond community facilities are designed to develop the whole child intellectually, socially, physically, emotionally and cognitively. A positive and encouraging learning environment is provided where children of various cultures and backgrounds share and learn about each other.
The preschool term is from September to June with a winter and spring break vacation.

Registration for preschool must be in person. When registering, please bring your child's:
- Birth Certificate
- Care Card
- Immunization Record
- Current Photo
$40 dollar non-refundable deposit for registration per preschool.
Fees payable by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or cheque are due at registration. An additional registration fee may be applied. Monthly post-dated payments for the remainder of the school year are accepted.
For all licensed preschools, children must turn the appropriate age by December 31, 2016 for four years old classes and December 31, 2017 for three year old classes..

With a focus on fine arts, science, gardening, cooking and intergenerational programming, this program allows for flexibility to accommodate your schedule by giving you the option to pick and choose the days that work best for you. A minimum of two days registration is required.

Times for Twos
This program prepares children for preschool. Parents may or may not be required to attend. Parent duty days are mandatory. Please note: Times for Twos is unlicensed*.
