Registered Youth Hangout Visits
Friday Night Hangouts
Fri: 4:00-6:00pm

Need a safe space to hang out with your friends? Participate in fun socially-distanced activities in a safe, non-judgmental environment with other youth and Youth Staff. Pre-registration is required.

How to Register
Visit the Program Registration page, click on the BROWSE AND REGISTER button and browse Registered Visits at City Centre Community Centre. Register online or call the Registration Call Centre at 604-276-4300, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Youth Leadership Teams
Five different youth teams meet weekly at City Centre Community Centre to plan and create community service projects and initiatives. Volunteers on the leadership teams have the chance to learn and develop leadership, teamwork, and project planning skills while also getting to know other youth in the community.

Always wanted to start your own business? Beta U is the Business, Entrepreneurship, and Resource Development team where volunteers turn business ideas into real-life ventures.

C-Change
Thu: 5:00-6:00pm
Yearning to make a difference in your community? This group is the Social Responsibility and Change Team where like-minded volunteers come together to explore social concerns and design projects to fight them.

Footprints
Thu: 5:15-6:15pm
If you’re looking for a way to share your talents in music and the arts then this Arts, Culture and Music Team welcomes volunteers to bring their creative ideas to life.

Fearless
Tue: 7:30-8:30pm
Women make up half of the population in Canada, yet they are vastly underrepresented in leadership roles. Did you know that only 15% of CEO’s in Canada are women? Join Fearless to change that! This group is a committee targeted toward young women that aims to empower them to take on leadership opportunities, no matter the field.
