School Programs

The Steveston Museum offers school programs based on local history that cover the new curriculum’s BIG IDEAS through inquiry-based learning. 

To request a school programs booking, access the  2019-2020 school programs brochure. Go to the second page and click on the link at the bottom of the page to fill in an online booking form.

The Nikkei Return - New On-Site Program 
Grades: 4-6
Learn about Japanese Canadian history through a walking tour of Steveston. At the museum, students unpack suitcases of objects and stories, revealing personal experiences of the internment and post-war years.
