Steveston Heritage Experience Tour
Go back in time on an interactive walking tour stopping at four celebrated historic attractions: Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site, the Steveston Tram, Steveston Museum and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site. Hear tales of yesteryear village life as told by a chatty fisherman who seems to have stepped from the streets of 1914 and enjoy carefully chosen food and beverage tastings served at each location. Bus transportation is provided between Britannia Shipyards and Steveston Village and then back to Britannia Shipyards.19+ years only.

Living History

Explore Steveston's historic sites through Living History. 

Steveston Museum Living History Dip PenStep into the past with historical demonstrations led by heritage interpreters dressed in period costume. Experiences include:

  • writing a bank cheque at Steveston Museum using a dip pen and ink
  • net mending at Britannia Shipyards, National Historic Site
  • talking to the Conductor on the Steveston Tram
  • laundry with a scrub board and mangle at London Heritage Farm.
